Calling all creative minds! We're excited to announce a community contest to name our new Family Enrichment Center, a space dedicated to empowering families and fostering a vibrant community spirit. Think you have the perfect name? Here's how to submit your entries:
Step 1: Eligibility
- You must be a resident of Washington Heights or Inwood (proof of address will be required for shortlisted entries).
- Employees of the backbone agency (CASW) are not eligible to participate.
Step 2: Get Inspired!
Consider the warmth, unity, and vibrant spirit of Washington Heights and Inwood as you brainstorm your name ideas. Think about what this center represents for families in the community.
Step 3: Submit Your Entries
- You can submit up to 3 names through our online submission form (link is below).
- Each entry should be accompanied by a brief explanation (optional) of why you chose that name.
Step 4: Selection Process
- A panel of judges will review all entries and shortlist a selection of names based on their creativity, relevance to the center's mission, and community spirit.
Step 5: Community Vote!
- The shortlisted names will be open for community voting soon.
- Everyone in Washington Heights and Inwood will have a chance to cast their vote and choose their favorite name.
Step 6: The Big Reveal!
- The winning name will be announced on December 13th, 2024, along with the grand prize winner!
